ABOUT US
Pista B is a film and visual arts production company based in Santiago, Chile, characterised by developing projects that cross genres and formats, in an interdisciplinary manner, accompanying filmmakers through all stages of their projects. It has produced award-winning content of international scope, with a high impact on digital platforms and new media.
Among Pista B’s works are "Los Huesos" by León and Cociña (2021; winner of the Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film at the Venice Film Festival, selected in more than 65 festivals, currently streaming on MUBI and part of the permanent collection of MoMA in New York); the experimental animated short film "Vitanuova" by Niles Atallah (2023; FICUNAM, FIDMarseille, Ottawa IAFF, ZINEBI); "Una isla brillante" by Pedro Fontaine (2023; PÖFF Shorts); "DATA FLESH" by Felipe Elgueta (2024; World Premiere Annecy 2024), "Golpe a Golpe", an audiovisual project by Diego Cumplido that had a multidisciplinary exhibition in Santiago in 2022 and millions of digital views; the project "Titanic, a deep emotion" by visual artist Claudia Bitrán, which had an exhibition between December 2023 and January 2024 and is currently being adapted into an experimental polyptych feature film; and the music video "Thin Thing" by the band The Smile (formed by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood).
